Andrew Packwood

Andrew Packwood has been a continuous member of SWRSLSC, joining in 2003 when his children started Nippers.

During this time, Packy as he is fondly known, has held various committee positions including Director of Competition and Board and Ski Captain. He is also a well liked and respected Patrol Captain as well as being an integral part of the Club Call Out Team, attending countless emergency out of hours events.

Packy has also proved himself as a fierce competitor over the years as well and handed himself to all disciplines – IRB Racing, surf boats and individual events such as swim, board and ski, competing at all levels from local competitions to the Aussie Championships. He has also won multiple awards at the annual SWRSLSC Awards of Excellence including the Kevin Ruscoe Memorial Award for Club Person of the Year on three occasions.
